Minimum Requirements:

  • Current CDL & Medical Card: Ensure you have a valid CDL and medical card to operate our equipment.
  • 1 Year of OTR Verifiable Tractor Trailer Experience: We require at least one year of verifiable OTR experience with a tractor trailer.
  • Good MVR & Accident Record: Maintain a good MVR and accident record to ensure your safety and the safety of others on the road.
  • DOT Regulations & CSA Program Compliant: Ensure you are compliant with DOT regulations and the CSA program.
  • Ability to Obtain TSA Clearance or TWIC Card: You must be able to obtain TSA clearance or a TWIC card to work with our company.
  • Self-Certified CDL with State DMV: Ensure your CDL is self-certified with your state DMV.

To Qualify with Crane Freight & Cartage:

  • Must be 21 Years of Age or Older: You must be at least 21 years old to apply.
  • Must have a Valid CDL Class A License: Ensure you have a valid CDL Class A license.
  • Must have a Valid Social Security Number: You must have a valid social security number to apply.
  • Must have Legal Right to Work in the United States: Ensure you have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Must have 2 or Less Moving Violations or Accidents in the Last 3 Years: Maintain a good driving record with no more than two moving violations or accidents in the last three years.
  • License Not Suspended or Revoked in the Last 3 Years: Ensure your license has not been suspended or revoked in the last three years.
  • No Conviction for DUI or DWI in the Last 7 Years: You must not have been convicted of DUI or DWI in the last seven years.
  • We Evaluate PSP Results in the Decision-Making Process: We consider PSP results in our decision-making process.
