Job Summary

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures on patients of all ages, from neonatal to adults, with varying levels of acuity.
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to maintain clinical expertise.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
  • 2-3 years of experience in MRI, with pediatric experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical expertise and competency in cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle critical care situations with ease and composure.
Certifications and Licenses
  • ARRT (RT) (MRI) with TMB licensure within 90 days.
  • ARRT(MR) with no TMB requirement.
  • ARMRIT with no TMB requirement.
