Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dishwasher. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, run, and unload the dishwasher, as well as hand wash certain items as needed
  • Ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
  • Sort and organize clean dishes and kitchenware for easy access
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen
  • Assist the kitchen staff with various tasks such as prepping ingredients and restocking supplies
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards
  • Comply with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Proven experience working as a dishwasher or in a similar role is a plus
  • Knowledge of proper sanitization and cleaning techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (e.g. containers of dishes)
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to withstand hot and humid conditions in the kitchen environment
