Job Title: Direct Support Professional

At Sevita, we believe that everyone deserves to live a full, more independent life. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one care and support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities
  • Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene
  • Transport individuals to appointments, outings, and activities in the community
  • Support individuals in developing skills and strategies to live independently
  • Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure the health and safety of individuals served
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Successful clearance of background checks
  • A compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do
