Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Pathologist to join our team at Ansible Government Solutions, LLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing surgical pathology gross, microscopic, and final diagnosis rendering along with coding of surgical reports with pathology in rotation with other pathologists.
  • Providing intraoperative consultation to surgical services.
  • Performing fine needle aspiration biopsies, providing diagnoses in rapid onsite evaluation for CT guided and EBUS guided fine needle aspiration biopsies, and providing diagnoses on gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology specimens.
  • Participating in prospective peer review and retrospective review of 10% cases when needed.
  • Performing review and interpretation of serum and urine protein electrophoresis.
  • Providing consultation to Medical Center and laboratory staff in matters of test utilizations, technical and result interpretation.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pathology.
  • Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
  • NPI report printout.
  • Active DEA license.
  • Must be able to pass a federal background investigation.

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be required to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift. They will also be required to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist, lift up to 20 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance, and push/pull with 30 lbs of force.
