Key Responsibilities
- Interpret genetic testing results to inform treatment plans.
- Conduct therapy discussions with patients and their families.
- Evaluate and manage patients with urgent medical conditions, specifically related to blood and immune system disorders.
- Administer chemotherapy and other biological treatments through various methods.
- Perform apheresis and analyze blood samples, including complete blood counts.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures such as lumbar punctures and bone marrow biopsies.
- Manage venous access devices and perform therapeutic procedures as needed.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Unrestricted medical license valid in any U.S. jurisdiction.
- Active DEA registration and ability to pass a federal background check.
Physical Requirements
All candidates must be capable of:
- Sitting, standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching during shifts.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs and carrying up to 40 lbs over reasonable distances.
