Position Available:

We are currently seeking Physical Therapists (PT) to join our dynamic team. As a Physical Therapist at The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of residents and contribute to their rehabilitation and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and Plan: Assess residents' conditions and develop tailored physical rehabilitation plans to help them achieve their goals.
  • Enhance Mobility: Assist residents in improving their mobility through targeted exercises and therapy techniques, helping them to regain their independence and confidence.
  • Pain Management: Utilize hands-on therapy, stretching, and physical therapy devices to alleviate pain and discomfort, improving the overall quality of life for our residents.
  • Education and Guidance: Instruct residents on the proper use of physical therapy equipment and provide support during tasks, empowering them to take control of their rehabilitation.
  • Recovery Support: Explain the recovery process and prepare residents for each stage of their rehabilitation, providing them with the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain residents' confidence by keeping all information confidential, respecting their trust and dignity.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise physical therapy assistants as needed and contribute to a collaborative care environment, working together to achieve the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure a safe and clean working environment at all times, prioritizing the well-being and safety of our residents and staff.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
  • Current New York State PT License.
  • Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings is preferred.
