Role Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will take on significant technical responsibilities, utilizing their expertise in software development and design for Object-Oriented systems. You will be instrumental in the following:
- Leading software development initiatives with a focus on quality and performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Overseeing the requirements development and flow-down process.
- Conducting system or subsystem level Integration, Verification, and Validation (IV&V).
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in software development.
- Proficiency in C++ programming.
- Experience with system integration and testing methodologies.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in Airborne Sensors, Data Architecture, Network Communications, and Resource Management.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Continuous Integration.
- Knowledge of various operating systems such as UNIX, Linux, and Windows.
- Experience in designing, coding, and testing large-scale systems.
- Current Secret Security clearance is a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
