Job Title: Mechanical Designer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team at Kurt J Lesker Company. As a Mechanical Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative mechanical components and products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical components and products using 3D CAD software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions.
  • Work with internal machine shops to determine cost-effective manufacturing solutions.
  • Ensure timely compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and up to 1+ year(s) of experience or associates degree, in mechanical design or related field and at least 5 years of experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in mechanical design or related field.
  • Strong 3D CAD experience and knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience with Solid Edge or other mid-range modeling packages.
