About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Psynergy Programs. As a Certified Nurse Assistant, you will provide high-quality care to residents with complex and chronic mental illness in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical support to assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.
  • Record vital signs, height, and weight, and measure and record dietary intake and urinary and fecal output.
  • Administer medications or treatments as directed.
  • Collect specimens and observe or examine residents to detect symptoms that may require medical attention.
  • Assist nurses or physicians in the operation of medical equipment or provision of care.

Requirements:

  • Full Vaccination against COVID-19 (CA required)
  • A valid Nursing Assistant Certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health (required)
  • Great attitude (required)
  • Experience working in behavioral health or in residential care (preferred)
