Position: Pharmacy Compounding Specialist II

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medications.
  • Execute pharmaceutical calculations with precision.
  • Assess compounded medications to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Uphold cleanliness and functionality of pharmacy equipment and workspaces.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior pharmacy technicians.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a pharmacy technician.
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is required.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Capability to stand for prolonged periods and lift weights up to 30 pounds.

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience in a healthcare or pharmacy technician role is advantageous.

Compensation:

Starting salary at $23.25 per hour with opportunities for advancement.
