Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registration Clerk-Switchboard Specialist to join our team at TGCH Inc. As a key member of our outpatient registration department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Registration and Scheduling: Accurately register patients, verify demographic and insurance information, and perform medical necessity checking on procedures/tests/ordered for patients.
  2. Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including data entry, answering phone calls, and responding to patient inquiries.
  3. Switchboard Operations: Operate the hospital switchboard, answering and directing incoming calls, and paging or beeping individuals as needed.
  4. Performance Improvement: Participate in performance improvement activities to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient registration processes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or registration setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
