Provider Contract Food Service, a leading provider of culinary and hospitality services, is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at California Baptist University in Riverside, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of baked goods, including breads, rolls, pizza dough, and laminated doughs, according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the bakery supervisor or manager to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.
  • Develop and implement creative cake decorating skills to enhance the visual appeal of desserts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in baking and pastry arts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience baking in high-volume kitchens.
  • Ability to read and follow recipes, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic knowledge of measurements and ingredient ratios.
  • Basic cake decorating skills and knowledge of plating techniques.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods.
