This role offers the chance to build meaningful relationships with both residents and a collaborative healthcare team.The Clinical Nurse Specialist plays a crucial role within the healthcare team, ensuring high-quality care for residents by applying advanced critical thinking and assessment abilities, while adhering to both federal and state regulations.
The Charge Nurse is responsible for delegating care responsibilities to nursing staff based on their qualifications and expertise.
Key responsibilities include safe medication administration, conducting thorough resident assessments, monitoring changes in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and executing treatments and procedures as directed by physicians.
As part of the interdisciplinary team, the Charge Nurse facilitates resident admissions and discharges and contributes to the development of personalized Plans of Care.
This is a full-time position with a focus on night shifts.
