We are nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area and have an extensive range of services, including an innovative cardiovascular program. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Our team works closely with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide exceptional patient care. We have received numerous accolades, including the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.
Responsibilities and QualificationsThis position requires a registered technologist with experience working in procedural areas, particularly in cath labs. Key responsibilities include preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, preparing and positioning patients for care, establishing and maintaining sterile environments, and serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
Candidates must be able to use downtime effectively by completing tasks such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and participating in delegated duties assigned by charge persons or managers.
A strong professional relationship with physicians and leadership is essential for facilitating excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will also maintain current certifications and complete all competencies listed in department policy within six months of hire.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.
Candidates should hold relevant certifications, such as ARRT or RCIS, and have experience working in cath lab settings. A Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is preferred. ACLS training is required within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) training is also required.
