Job Overview

Children's Therapy Place, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to work with our Infant and Toddler Population. We are committed to nurturing the potential of every child and supporting their aspirations.

As the only comprehensive outpatient pediatric therapy clinic in the Treasure Valley, we offer a range of services including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, mental health counseling, and behavioral support through our developmental disabilities agency.

Our Mission: To empower children and their families to lead fulfilling lives through innovative therapy, educational initiatives, and collaborative multidisciplinary services.

We are looking for compassionate individuals who can connect with clients and work effectively within a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Occupational Therapy services in line with Idaho Infant and Toddler Program guidelines.
  • Conduct screenings and regular evaluations to develop, implement, and coordinate individualized treatment plans.
  • Communicate evaluation results to families and other professionals.
  • Create treatment plans that identify issues, set short and long-term goals, and outline methods to achieve these goals.
  • Coordinate treatment plans and share copies with families and other professionals involved in the care.
  • Implement treatment as specified in the Infant and Toddler IFSP treatment plan.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, treatments, follow-ups, and discharge planning.
  • Educate clients and families on occupational therapy techniques and home programs to facilitate therapeutic goals in daily activities.
  • Provide in-service training to the client’s care team and educational outreach to the community.
  • Document billable treatment times and submit biweekly timesheets as per company procedures.
  • Adhere to all Infection Control, Universal Precautions, and OSHA standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with coworkers, clients, families, and facility staff.
  • Participate in discharge planning and educational activities for clients, families, and staff.
  • Attend required in-service and facility meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
  • A Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Certification from the National Credentialing Board.
  • Current licensure in the state of Idaho.
  • Preferred experience in pediatric therapy.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with coworkers, clients, and families.
  • Timeliness and effective scheduling to maximize productivity.
  • Professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check prior to employment.
