Firefighter Trainee

The Firefighter Trainee will assist in fire suppression, emergency medical services, and technical rescue response. This position requires a strong commitment to public safety and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Participate in fire suppression, emergency medical services, and technical rescue response
• Assist in training and education programs for firefighters
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of fire equipment and apparatus
• Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid North Carolina driver's license required
• Ability to pass a physical agility test and background check
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
