Key Responsibilities
  • Instill a culture of safety as a top priority.
  • Support a dynamic team consisting of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, Grade Foremen, and other staff.
  • Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with owners, design partners, and the workforce.
  • Create and manage 3D models and designs for field users to perform layout work.
  • Perform sUAS photogrammetric surveys.
  • Understand and assist with project layout and survey.
  • Perform earthwork quantity takeoffs from field survey data.
  • Oversee the delivery, inventory, and warehousing of materials and equipment.
  • Resolve field problems and conflicts with subcontractors, suppliers, and the workforce.
  • Maintain as-built drawings, survey records, and manuals.
  • Attend and/or lead meetings.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications used for project control and administration, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of surveying, as well as familiarity with Trimble's suite of civil construction field equipment and software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • A positive attitude and excellent motivational skills.
  • Time Management, organization, and prioritization skills are crucial.
  • A valid Driver's License.
