About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our NICU team at Ascension Providence. As a Physical Therapist in this role, you will work closely with our neonatal care team to provide high-quality physical therapy services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs for patients in the NICU.
  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Establish, revise, and evaluate plans of care that are tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
  • Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas required.
  • Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners required within 6 months of hire date.
  • Experience working in a NICU setting preferred.
