Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver direct patient care within the Medical Oncology Clinic. This essential nursing role necessitates the capability to coordinate patient care, perform triage, and collaborate effectively with clinic providers, fellows, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate care for patients and facilitate appointments.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding complex health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized health plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Administer medications and provide necessary drug information to patients and families.
  • Support a positive work environment conducive to clinical education and assist student nurses and staff.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Associate's degree in Nursing, Diploma RN, or Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Valid Registered Nursing License.
  • Basic computer proficiency and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Oncology Nursing.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and National Nursing Certification.
