Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Residential Painting Professional to join our maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our residents' homes are well-maintained and look their best. In this role, you'll work directly with team members to prioritize and manage your daily workload, ensuring successful completion of tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and manage daily workload to ensure successful completion
  • Work directly with team members in all areas of maintenance, with specialized skills in painting
  • Maintain service records and knowledge of policies and procedures
  • Skillfully complete various tasks, including sanding, scraping, and removing old paint
  • Tape, float, and texture walls and ceilings
  • Apply paint to surfaces using brushes, spray guns or paint rollers
  • Cover floors, furniture, and trim to protect surfaces during painting
  • Remove fixtures prior to painting and clean up equipment afterward
  • Other duties may include working in other areas of maintenance to support colleagues or performing light construction projects

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of multifamily/residential experience
  • At least 2 years of painting experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing duties
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Professional appearance required

Working Conditions

This is a well-lit, busy, high-paced environment with occasional noisy areas. Must be able to work overtime when required and be flexible regarding available lunchtimes. May need to perform occasional weekend work if necessary. Estimated salary range: $19.00-$22.00 per hour.
