Job Summary:

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to adult and child members with a range of mental health needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with licensed clinical professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for members with mental health conditions.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to members, as needed.
  • Conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with members and their families.
  • Work with members to develop coping skills and strategies to manage mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for members.
  • Document member progress and treatment plans in accordance with Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance mental health services.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field required.
  • Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (California) or equivalent licensure required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of mental health conditions, assessment, and treatment modalities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in mental health services, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment modalities.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
