Job Opportunity at Rutgers University

Rutgers University's Management Science and Information Systems Department is seeking a tenure-track faculty member at the assistant professor rank to join our team. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to our undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as our research initiatives in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate, master's, and Ph.D. level courses in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
  • Conduct research and publish papers in top-tier journals
  • Supervise Ph.D. students and mentor junior faculty members
  • Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and administrative responsibilities
Requirements
  • Ph.D. degree in a relevant field prior to September 1, 2022
  • Demonstrated potential to become an outstanding scholar and lead a research program suitable for tenure at a research university
  • Experience in teaching, research, and service in a higher education setting
