Laboratory Specialist

Job Summary:
BioFire Diagnostics is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technologist I to perform a variety of laboratory tasks and production processes. The ideal candidate will have strong pipetting skills, attention to detail, and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tasks in compliance with company policy and quality system guidelines.
- Maintain records in accordance with regulatory requirements, cGMP, and SOPs.
- Manufacture oligonucleotides according to electronic batch records and WID's.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including UV/Vis spectrophotometer, HPLC, liquid handling robots, and DNA synthesizers.
- Handle hazardous chemicals in accordance with approved written procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Chemistry, BioChemistry, or Biology, or working toward a degree.
- Ability to wear a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).
Working Conditions:
The Laboratory Technologist I will work in a laboratory environment with a shift schedule of Sunday-Tuesday from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM and every other Wednesday (A Shift).
