Pharmacy Technician

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacists in the delivery of healthcare services.

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software, to ensure efficient and accurate processing of prescriptions.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications.
• Proficiency in computer software and systems, including pharmacy management systems and cash registers.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
