Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Associate to join our team. As a Merchandising Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the sales floor and merchandise presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures. This includes properly zoning the area, stocking, arranging and organizing merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise according to company policies and procedures, identifying shrink and damages, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Properly zone the area, stock, arrange and organize merchandise, set up, clean, and organize product displays, remove damaged goods, sign and price merchandise according to company policies and procedures, identify shrink and damages, and secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
  • Monitor food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, code dating, product recalls, and sanitation standards are followed according to company policies and procedures.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
Requirements
  • Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date. Required to safely utilize pallet jacks within thirty days.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
