Job Overview

TEXMORE INC is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to lead our shop team. As a lead mechanic, you will oversee the repair and maintenance of our fleet of heavy equipment, including hydraulic material handlers, front end loaders, skid steers, forklifts, and other machinery. This role requires prior experience working on large diesel machines and a strong understanding of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of mechanics in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment
  • Oversee the daily operations of the shop, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting production targets
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Perform complex repairs and maintenance tasks on heavy equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience working on heavy equipment, preferably in a lead or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
