Our unique approach has earned us national recognition for preparing students for success in college and beyond. With more than 60% of our teachers and staff identifying as a person of color, we reflect the diversity of our student population.
About Our College Coaching ProgramWe take pride in offering long-term coaching during 'Projects,' meeting with students on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Additionally, we participate in at least 6 weekend tournaments over a 6-month period, requiring up to 2 hours of preparation per week.
- Sign up for competitions in partnership with the school-based Enrichment Program
- Coach and travel with students to at least all competitions
- Chaperone students to at least 2 regional/local competitions ahead of the main event
In partnership with the school-based Enrichment Program Manager, establish a family communication protocol using the Remind app to update families about competition schedules, after-school practices, and any other activities outside of regular school hours.
Benefits and SalaryAs a College Academic Coach at Uncommon Schools, you can expect a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
