POSITION SUMMARY:

This armed role operates under the direct oversight of the Manager for designated high-profile locations, executing a range of security-related responsibilities. In this capacity, you will monitor and report activities and incidents at assigned sites, ensuring the protection and safety of client assets, visitors, and personnel.

As an armed officer, you may address unusual circumstances utilizing appropriate levels of force, including armed response as dictated by the situation and established protocols. Furthermore, you will aid in maintaining order and may enforce regulations and directives for the site concerning personnel, visitors, and premises; manage access to client locations through the admittance process; remain responsive in all scenarios; oversee entrances and exits, and act to deter unauthorized or unlawful entry.

Duties Include:

  • Managing access to client locations through the admittance process.
  • Responding to unusual or emergency situations with appropriate escalation of force.
  • Providing courteous and professional interactions with clients and visitors.
  • Communicating openly, honestly, and responsively in all situations.
  • Monitoring entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Patrolling assigned locations on foot or in a vehicle to identify hazards and security violations.
  • Securing evidence in the event of accidents or emergencies.
  • Documenting logs or reports as necessary.
  • Observing and reporting incidents or suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.
  • Responding to various incidents following established protocols.
  • Carrying out specific tasks as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship Preferred, Must be at least 21 years of age.

Education | Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D., with a minimum of two (2) years of Armed Security / Law Enforcement experience OR two (2) years of honorable service with the U.S. Armed Forces.

Background Prerequisites: Must comply with company standards for background checks, controlled substance testing, and physical examination requirements.

Competencies:

  • Must meet and maintain licensing requirements for armed security roles.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support CPR/AED and First Aid is required.
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures is essential.
  • Effective communication skills and professionalism are necessary.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills are important.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work with computers.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Maintaining composure in various situations is essential.
  • May be exposed to sensitive information and high-stress scenarios.
  • Required to exercise rapid judgment in emergency responses.
  • May be required to work overtime without prior notice.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role is necessary.
  • Work environments may necessitate the use of protective gear and devices.
