Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sports Reporter to join our team at Lee Enterprises. As a Sports Reporter, you will be responsible for covering Division I athletics at Liberty University, as well as other local sports events.

Key Responsibilities

• Cover local sports events, including Division I athletics at Liberty University
• Conduct interviews with athletes, coaches, and other sports professionals
• Write engaging and informative articles for our publications
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of local sports news and trends
• Work closely with our editorial team to ensure high-quality content

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to work well under deadline and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of local sports news and trends
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
