We are looking for a Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient patient care.

Job Summary and Qualifications


As a Hospice Registered Nurse, you will be tasked with providing exceptional, patient-centered care in accordance with departmental requirements and state practice standards.

In collaboration with medical professionals and the care team, you will deliver personalized, comprehensive, and empathetic care, adhering to established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the patient's condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status.

- Execute procedures, monitoring, or other functions as directed by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care in the patient's medical record.

- Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and take appropriate actions in case of adverse reactions.

- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating needs, and resolving issues.

- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by simplifying complex medical terminology.


Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
