Position Overview
AECOM is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to take on a pivotal role within our Remediation division.

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will collaborate with a diverse array of technical experts across various disciplines to provide remediation consulting services to our esteemed clients.

The successful applicant will:

  • Foster strong relationships with team members and clients to facilitate the pursuit of new business opportunities.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively engage with project teams, clients, site personnel, and management.

  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures rigorously.
  • Oversee the technical, cost, and schedule aspects of project delivery.
  • Ensure the quality of field operations and project outputs in alignment with the AECOM Quality Management System.

Additional Duties
The responsibilities of this role encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating closely with the NY/NJ Remediation Area Manager and other teams within the Remediation department.
  • Managing a team within the Remediation department and supporting growth objectives.
  • Engaging in business development activities, including marketing and proposals to potential and existing clients.
  • Acting as Project Manager on large-scale, complex projects, overseeing technical delivery, schedule management, fiscal oversight, client relations, reporting, and team coordination.
  • Preparing comprehensive written reports, work plans, and technical memoranda; analyzing data to formulate well-supported conclusions.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance project efficiencies, refine technical methodologies, and add value to client services.
  • Assisting in the development and mentorship of junior staff.
