Levin Furniture and Mattress is seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team in Wexford, PA. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering home furnishings and appliances to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Unload, load, move, and set up home furnishings and drive truck to perform delivery, service, shuttle, and warehousing duties.
- Practice safe and secure material handling methods and distribute merchandise properly in accordance with product handling standards.
- Verify sales orders for product, customer account, and other information prior to loading and unloading merchandise.
- Communicate with internal and external personnel in a professional and timely manner.
- Practice safe and secure loading methods to utilize the maximum amount of truck space and avoid damages.
- Report errors found on documents to supervisor and complete all documentation neatly and accurately.
- Operate manual and mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner to perform delivery or warehousing duties.
- Perform delivery duties at various store locations dependent on business needs.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
- Obtain and maintain a DOT physical card.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and lift cartons weighing approximately lbs. repetitively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Basic numerical reasoning skills.
- Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat, and efficient manner.
Residential, retail, and warehouse environment.
Work Schedule:6:30am until completion of your deliveries.
