About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Department Manager to join our team at H&M Group. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Sales & Profit
    • Ensure a positive customer experience by providing excellent customer service and visual merchandising.
    • Manage sales and profit goals, creating plans to optimize results and increase sales.
    • Be aware of and take responsibility for your department's strengths and identifying commercial opportunities and acting on them.
  • Fashion & Trend Awareness
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and styles, and ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge to customers.
  • Team & Development
    • Recruit, onboard, and develop your team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
    • Complete performance evaluations and succession planning to support business and team needs.
  • Retail Operations/Visual & Commercial Execution
    • Ensure a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, including stockroom areas.
    • Manage stock levels and provide input on allocation to the Area team.
    • Ensure the full garment cycle, from delivery to garment presentation, and fitting room routines are according to our standards and routines set internally.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with numbers and manage statistics.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with fashion trends and styles.
