Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chiropractic Care Specialist to join our team. As a Chiropractic Care Specialist at The Joint Chiropractic, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with patients to develop treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals. You will educate patients on the benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide ongoing support and guidance to help them achieve optimal health and wellness.

Responsibilities
  • Consultation and Diagnosis: Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories, questioning, observing, and examining patients, and reviewing x-rays as indicated.
  • Evaluation and Treatment: Evaluate patients' neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine-related conditions. Perform manual adjustments to the spine or other articulations of the body to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
  • Patient Education and Support: Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide a recommended course of treatment. Maintain accurate case histories of patients and obtain and record patients' medical histories as indicated.
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken when medically necessary and analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.
  • Patient Care and Education: Provide chiropractic care and education to patients, building positive doctor-patient relationships and maintaining accurate and timely patient records.
  • Sales and Marketing: Sell membership packages to patients and promote the benefits of routine chiropractic care.
Qualifications
  • A 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
  • A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
  • Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NCBE).
  • A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV.
  • A valid DC license in Washington State.
  • Fully eligible for malpractice insurance in Washington State.
Work Environment

This is a full-time or part-time position, with opportunities to work at various clinics. The salary is $45/hour, plus a monthly bonus of $1-$3 per adjustment (if performance metrics are met). The expected hours are 10-40 per week.
