About the Role

Graham Packaging is a leading manufacturer of sustainable packaging solutions, and we are seeking an experienced Extruder Operator to join our team at our Recycling Plant in York, PA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain extruder equipment to produce high-quality packaging materials
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment, and replacing worn parts
  • Monitor and control the extrusion process to ensure optimal product quality and efficiency
  • Collaborate with production team members to achieve production goals and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Participate in quality control initiatives to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of extrusion processes and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
