Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance scans to obtain accurate images.
Key Responsibilities- Perform magnetic resonance scans to obtain high-quality images, adhering to ACR practice guidelines and safety standards.
- Prepare patients for exams, providing clear instructions and addressing their physical and emotional needs.
- Assist patients during exams, positioning them correctly and observing their condition.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, imaging personnel, and hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Facilitate smooth patient flow, scheduling, and optimal use of equipment/resources.
- Perform IV starts and contrast administration as required.
- Assist with patient transport as needed.
- Correctly input charges and required data for procedures and supplies utilized during exams.
- Complete required hospital/medical imaging paperwork for each exam performed.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- State License-Radiology Technologist-Kansas.
- ARRT-MR (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) certification.
- ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
- Ability to lift 50-100lbs.
