Position Overview

Select Laboratory Partners is looking for a dedicated Clinical Lab Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role can be filled as either a full-time or part-time position, offering flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process specimens, ensuring accurate accessioning into the laboratory information system.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures while performing laboratory duties.
  • Organize and maintain the work area and inventory of supplies.
  • Keep detailed written records of laboratory activities.
  • Uphold HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and secure the work environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of OSHA standards and practices.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in basic Word and Excel applications, and a keen attention to detail. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting. A background screening will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
