Mixologist

At Goodwood Brewing Co., we're seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for our patrons.

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wines, to meet the needs of our customers.
• Take orders and provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences and our menu offerings.
• Operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Verify the age of customers to ensure compliance with our liquor laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with our kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for catering events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic math skills is essential.
• Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus, but not necessary.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to handle food safely is crucial.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact with diverse customers and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are essential.
• Knowledge of retail math for handling transactions accurately is a must.
• Hospitality mindset with a friendly and welcoming attitude is a must.
