About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team at Atlas Ventures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development with Java, Java SE, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and supervise customer-specific software projects with a focus on Java throughout the software development process.
  • Consult with clients on the conceptualization of requirements and technical issues.
  • Program, implement, expand, and maintain highly available Java/Java EE applications.
  • Create requirement analyses and technical documentation.
  • Develop using agile methods and techniques such as Scrum, Test Driven Development, Clean Code.
Requirements
  • A degree in IT or a comparable education.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development with Java, Java SE, Patterns, Java SWING, UI design.
  • Excellent knowledge of backend technologies such as WLS, JPA (Hibernate or EclipseLink).
  • Experience with application servers (e.g. WebLogic) and databases (e.g. Oracle).
  • Curiosity for new developments and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
