About the Role:

The Intl. Parking Inst invites applications for an experienced Anesthesiology Department Head to lead our Anesthesiology Department. This is a full-time equivalent position with 12 months of tenure, offering an open rank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the activities of the Anesthesiology Department, including preanesthetic evaluation, intraoperative anesthetic care, and postoperative rounds.
  • Direct the clinical anesthesiology care of patients in main OR and ambulatory areas.
  • Supervise and direct Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) as appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology and/or Critical Care Certification.
  • Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in Virginia and employment in the United States.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
