Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a primary care specialist, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and family evidence-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
  • Perform administrative duties, including opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
  • Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
  • Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness, chronic condition management.
Requirements
  • A minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
  • Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
  • Provide holistic, evidence-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
  • Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, TB, and Depo, and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

  • EPIC experience preferred.
