Job Summary:

At American Driver, we are seeking an experienced CDL A Driver to join our team. As a CDL A Driver, you will be responsible for hauling goods across the country, enjoying the comfort of home on weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to meet customer expectations
  • Maintain a clean and safe driving record
  • Meet or exceed company safety standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 22 years of age
  • 1 year OTR experience with 6 months of flatbed within the past 5 years
  • Experience hauling steel pipe or flat steel on a flatbed trailer
  • Coil experience not required
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • Only 1 DOT preventable accident in the last year
  • No more than 1 at-fault accident in the last 3 years
  • No recent safety terminations
  • Automatic DQs include recent at-fault rollover failed DOT alcohol/drug tests and not more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
  • Urine drug screening

Benefits:

  • Full benefits kick in after 30 days including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and more
  • Paid vacation: 1 week after 1st year, 2 weeks after 3 years

Equipment:

  • 2021 and up Cascadias & KW T680s automatics
  • Drivers with Autorestriction are welcome
  • Trucks equipped with EZ pass and Prepass

Orientation:

  • 3-day orientation with travel lodging and meals provided

Compensation:

  • $5,000 sign-on bonus
  • $1,500 after your first delivery
  • Earn 27% of weekly gross revenue
  • Average take-home pay of $1,500-$1,800 weekly
  • Paid every Friday via direct deposit
