Responsibilities- Provide Occupational Therapy Services: Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to clients in accordance with Idaho Infant and Toddler Program procedures.
- Screen and Evaluate Clients: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Communicate with Families and Professionals: Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to families and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination of care.
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized treatment plans, adapting to the unique needs and goals of each client.
- Document Client Progress: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client assessments, treatment, follow-up, results, and discharge planning or termination of services.
- Provide Education and Support: Instruct clients and families in occupational therapy procedures, home programs, and adaptive equipment use, promoting carryover of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities.
- Participate in In-Service Education: Provide education to members of the client's care team and the community, enhancing knowledge and skills in occupational therapy.
- Meet Administrative Requirements: Record billable treatment times, submit biweekly time sheets, and maintain knowledge of and comply with Infection Control, Universal Precautions, and OSHA standards for healthcare professionals.
- Maintain Positive Relationships: Foster positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, clients, family members, and facility personnel, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy: Possess a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- National Credentialing Board Certification: Hold National Credentialing Board certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensure in Idaho: Be licensed to practice occupational therapy in the state of Idaho.
- Pediatric Experience: Preferably possess experience working with pediatric populations.
- Positive Relationships and Rapport: Maintain positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, clients, family members, and facility personnel.
- Reliability and Punctuality: Report to work on time and coordinate schedule to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency during assigned work hours.
- Professional Image: Project a positive and professional image at all times.
- Criminal Background Check: Pass a criminal background check prior to employment.
