About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Signal Processing Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our signals processing team, you will be responsible for developing radar and antenna models, performing modeling and simulation tasks, and analyzing and visualizing signals using various software tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement signal processing algorithms and techniques to analyze and interpret RF signals
  • Design and develop radar and antenna models using Fortran, C++, MATLAB, and Simulink
  • Perform detailed analyses of foreign threat systems and platforms to determine survivability and vulnerability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to complex engineering problems
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in signal processing and RF engineering
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with signal processing, including Fourier analysis, filtering, modulation techniques, or digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms
  • Experience with coding in MATLAB, C++, or Python
  • Experience with signal processing software and tools, such as MATLAB, GNU Radio, or LabVIEW, for analyzing and visualizing signals
  • Experience with military or commercial software defined radios (SDRs), such as Ettus, National Instruments, HackRF, KrackenRF
  • Experience with RF engineering, including RF propagation, antennas, modulation schemes, or RF measurement techniques, for analyzing or interpreting RF signals
  • Experience with RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers (VNAs), and signal generators for capturing and analyzing RF signals
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms and data engineering development
  • Knowledge of RF antennas or track filters
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree
