Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Inspector to join our team. As a Sales Inspector, you will be responsible for understanding our termite protection services and making strategic recommendations to customers. You will perform 360 inspections, solve problems, and build trusted relationships to ensure homes and families are protected.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and explain Orkin's termite protection services to customers
  • Perform 360 inspections to identify problems and provide solutions
  • Build trusted relationships with customers to ensure their homes and families are protected
  • Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers to explain Orkin's products and services
  • Inspect the interior and exterior of customers' homes and make recommendations based on inspection results
  • Stay organized and prepare sales agreements using a company-provided iPad

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license required with a good driving record
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company-paid)
  • Ability to work in the field independently and interact with customers
Work Environment

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform job duties with or without accommodations:

  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc., including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
  • Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
