Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Streets and Stormwater Operator II to join our team at the City of Tulsa. As a key member of our Public Works department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment, performing manual labor tasks, and ensuring the efficient operation of our streets and stormwater systems.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including trucks, excavators, and other machinery
  • Perform manual labor tasks, such as cleaning streets, repairing sidewalks, and maintaining stormwater infrastructure
  • Ensure the efficient operation of our streets and stormwater systems, including monitoring and maintaining water quality
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience as a Streets and Stormwater Operator I or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Valid Oklahoma Class A Commercial Driver's License with applicable endorsements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and inclement weather. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights of up to 10 feet.
