Position Overview

The Travel MRI Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services within the field of Radiology and Cardiology. This position involves operating MRI equipment and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Certification Requirements: Candidates should possess ARRT, BLS, and LSRT certifications. A temporary LSRT may be accepted, which can be issued within 3-5 days upon payment and proof of ARRT.
  • Experience: Proficiency in starting IVs is essential. Siemens experience is preferred for optimal performance.
Work Schedule
  • Days: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
  • Call Requirements: Rotating call on nights and weekends is mandatory.
  • Weekend and Holiday Work: Availability for weekend and holiday shifts is required.
Equipment Utilization

Experience with Siemens MRI equipment is highly valued, as it enhances the quality of imaging services provided.

This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of patient care and imaging excellence at LCMC Health East Jefferson General Hospital.
