We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Fitness Professional to join our team at Genesis Health Clubs. As a Fitness Advisor, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our members and promoting our club facilities and programs.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Retention: Assist in maintaining the profitability of the company through new member sales and retention, meeting daily and weekly minimum requirements on sales quotas, and meeting prospecting requirements and sales goals.
- Customer Service: Provide information and guidance to prospective members regarding club facilities, programs, membership procedures, and pricing, and educate current, new, and potential members on the benefits of regular exercise.
- Documentation and Administration: Ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely manner and attend scheduled sales meetings.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with retention departments to ensure high participation in the facilities, establish and maintain professional relationships with staff, and attend all staff and club meetings and events.
- Emergency Response: Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations.
- Availability: Available to work weekends and evenings and holidays.
- Certifications: Must hold current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of start date.
- Communication Skills: Ability to work well with others, experience in cash handling and credit cards, and customer service abilities.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and ability to communicate with guests and other associates, including reading, writing, and speaking.
