Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team at JAM Best One Fleet Service. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing fast, accurate, and high-quality mechanical service and diagnostics on light, medium, and heavy trucks, as well as agricultural vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance services, including alignments, chassis, driveline, and hydraulic systems repair
  • Diagnose and repair A/C systems, brake systems, and electrical systems
  • Provide tire and wheel service, trailer repair, and suspension repair
  • Work on 24-hour emergency road service (on-call rotation)
Requirements
  • Required certifications: Brakes and Braking Systems, Steering and Suspension
  • Preferred certifications: Electrical, Engine Repair, Drive Train
  • At least 2 years of experience servicing automotive, commercial truck, or farm vehicles
  • Current valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Able to lift 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
